FAQ
Where are you based and do you travel?
A. I’m based in California’s Central Valley, and yes — I love to travel.
Travel within a set radius of my home base is included. For weddings that require additional travel (such as longer distances, overnight stays, or flights), travel-related expenses are billed separately and shared clearly in advance.
When travel is required, I personally handle all booking and logistics, always choosing safe, efficient, and cost-conscious options so I can arrive prepared and fully present on your wedding day.
Do you photograph destination weddings?
A. Yes — absolutely. I love photographing elopements and destination weddings.
Whether you’re planning something intimate or getting married somewhere meaningful to you, coverage and travel needs are customized based on your plans. Any required travel expenses are handled separately and communicated clearly ahead of time.
How do we officially book you?
A. To officially reserve your wedding date, a signed contract and a non-refundable retainer are required. Once both are received, your date is secured and no longer available to other couples.
How many photos will we receive?
A. Each wedding collection produces a slightly different number of images based on the length of coverage and event flow. My focus is always on quality over quantity — I carefully select the best moments from your day and professionally edit them in my signature style (including color and black-and-white versions) so you receive a gallery full of beautiful, meaningful images.
When will we receive our photos?
A. Your full wedding gallery will be delivered within 8–10 weeks of your wedding date.
I often share a small selection of sneak peek images within 1–2 weeks, though sneak peek timing isn’t guaranteed. Your gallery will remain available for 12 months, giving you plenty of time to download and back up your images.
Will there be a second shooter?
A. A second shooter is not guaranteed and is not regularly included in my wedding collections unless explicitly stated in writing.
I am fully capable of capturing your wedding day independently, and a second shooter is not required for full coverage. If additional coverage is added, it’s done intentionally based on the needs of your day.
Can we extend coverage on the wedding day?
A. Yes — if availability allows, coverage can often be extended on the wedding day.
Any additional coverage is billed at an hourly rate and invoiced after the event. Payment is due within 14 days of the invoice and before your final gallery is delivered.
Will you help us with our timeline?
A. Yes. I review your timeline in advance and offer guidance to help ensure your photography coverage flows smoothly and feels relaxed.
Final timeline details are typically reviewed closer to the wedding date, once your plans are more finalized.
Do you provide RAW or unedited images?
A. No. All images are carefully selected and professionally edited in my signature style.
RAW or unedited images are not provided under any circumstances, as they do not reflect the finished work or artistic quality you booked me for.
Do I have to order prints through you?
A. You’re not required to order prints through me. Your gallery includes print and personal-use rights, so you’re welcome to print your images on your own if you choose.
That said, I do offer professional print options directly through your gallery. These labs are carefully selected for quality and color accuracy, and ordering through the gallery ensures your images are printed exactly as intended.
Whether you choose to print on your own or through the gallery, I always recommend downloading and safely backing up your images once they’re delivered.
